Welcome to the homepage of the
Swiss Lagotto Club

Almost 10 years ago, on 21 October 1995 , in the presence of some 26 Lagotto Romagnolo owners, our club was founded. In the very same year, the first Lagotti were born in Switzerland , and ever since, the interest for this exceptional dog has steadily grown in this country. Today, the Swiss Lagotto Romagnolo population has reached some 650 and the Swiss Lagotto Club counts more than 330 members.

The objectives and activities of the Swiss Lagotto Club are as follows:

• the promotion of pure breeding, the adequate handling and the propagation of the Lagotto Romagnolo breed in Switzerland ;
• the organization of various events and the transmission of relevant information on the Lagotto Romagnolo for its members;
• the promotion of contacts between breeders and interested parties, as well friendly relations between the club members;
• regular contacts with other Lagotto Romagnolo clubs and their federation, the World Union of Lagotto Clubs (UMLAG).

This homepage is, for the time being, edited in THE German language only.
